Mission – to increase and support participation of women in technology related areas. We focus on CIS majors and minors, but our interest is not limited to these only. For many non-majors, technology – in the form of free electives, self-teaching, club participation, etc. – will be the ‘breadth’ option, the skillset that shows them off to their best advantage in the job market.

We worked closely with students to create a new student club, The Fem|Code, for men and women who wish to support women in technology careers. Club officially chartered November 2016.
March 9, 2017. Women in Technology: A Panel Discussion for students and alums. Four Baruch alumnae share their experiences as successful women working in the technology sector and their thoughts on diversity and other issues in the technology workplace. The panel discussion will be followed by a networking hour for Baruch alumni and students. This event is open to all women and men who are interested in technology, business, and diversity in the workplace.
